A year has gone by, and the loss of you hasn't gotten any easier. Last year was such a difficult year for me because I lost so much. Sometimes I think that maybe if I didn't lose you on top of it all that some how I would have been alright. You were always full of kind words and wise insight that seemed to always turn a dark situation into light. 
Every day I strive to make myself a better person in your honor. I'm growing into a strong, independent, intelligent woman and you would be so proud of me! I'm graduating this year and I only wish you could be there to see me in my cap and gown.
I will never forgive myself for not spending more time with you before you passed. I really didn't know just how sick you were or how little time I had left with you. 
Your last words to me were, "I can't wait to walk you down the aisle." And even tho, however, I'm no longer getting married, when I do, I know you'll be there in spirit right along side me every step of the way down the aisle to the rest of my life. 
I love you grandpa and miss you so so much. Every day I wonder if it'll get any easier, and I know the day I meet up with you, that's when it truly will. Fly high and rest easy. Love you Gdaddy !

Tomorrow will be one year since my dad died. It has gone by so fast. I really miss the phone calls when I'm on the road and the weekend get togethers for dinner, talking or going to car or motorcycle shows. It's hard not making new memories but I have the old ones to remember what a great father and teacher of life he was. I will always miss and love you dad.

 Hi Wes I wish I could give you hugs right now and a big kiss on the cheek here's my message to you. Wes who ever thought the day you gave me a way to your son that it would change my life forever. That day you showed me that you accepted me to be a part of your life through the good and the bad times. Through your love and understanding I was able to grow and learn what being a trusting and caring person means. I believe God had a purpose when he allowed you to touch our lives, you are a true son, brother and father in life and also a wonderful friend to everyone you knew. You always kept your promises. You're missed and loved every day. Thank you for being my father and grandfather to our children. One day we will have our family reunion in Heaven.  We will miss you and love you forever.

I cant believe you've been gone a year already. Not a day goes by that i dont think about you. It hasnt gotten easier, but ive finally started learning to cope with you being gone. It feels like just yesterday you were here with us. But now that your gone, nothing is the same. I know ill see you again someday. I love you grandpa, and i really miss you. R.I.P G-daddy.

Mr Ford was one of my favorite customers. He had such a sweet spirit, & all of us at Meijer Pharmacy will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Mr Ford, &  may God bring comfort to your family during this time. Jami O'Neill  & all your friends at the pharmacy

Wes was such a kind-hearted person. We had a lot of fun times with him over the years. He was much loved by many.  I think of him often and miss him.

I only knew Wes for 7 1/2 years but he was one of the nicest most generous men that i knew. Wes wasn't just another one of my customers he was one of my friends. I will always remember Wes for his kind heart and wonderful sense of humor he will be missed dearly. My prayers go out to his family

Wes was a great friend and customer!  He often stopped in just to say hello and bring us a box of snacks.  He was a kind and gentle spirit.  He'll be missed here at Community Ford, we know he is up there still driving that convertible in the sun!

So sorry to hear he passed away.   He was one of my favorite patients!  Always in good spirits!!

Wes was my neighbor and we shared lots of laughs, back porch talks and one or two lunches - one where he forgot his wallet, and I had to buy lunch....he liked to tease about that...I will miss not waving at him when we both were at the mail box.  I'm sad he left us so young, but I know he is in a better place.   Roseann Gary, Oldham Drive

Wes was always a gentleman.  He had a kind spirit and always looking for ways to help others. It worried him I was coughing so much so he purchased a (weather) mask for me to wear to help me not to cough so much, plus he also gave me an extra mask for my mother who was also doing a great deal of coughing.

Wes and I went to the Boggstown Cabaret in his convertible and upon leaving he was lost.  We kept going around seemed like in a circle and finally I told Wes, " it seems like I have seen that barn a few minutes ago or one like it".  Wes  laughed and said " I did too, we're sight seeing".

Took my first long motorcycle ride with Wes, and there was a group of motorcycles riders and Wes was always concerned that he or none of the other riders would frighten me.  We all went to a restaurant and ate and then back on the motorcycles to head back home.  Wes was always very considerate and polite, and, of course, he always added some humor.  He was very proud of his driving record  WITHOUT ANY accidents or tickets.

I would often take Wes some home- cooked meals and he was always so thankful and appreciative.

Wes was a special person and a special friend and will be greatly missed.

I know he is not hurting any more and is enjoying being in heaven and seeing all heaven's

I will Love and Miss my Dad until God takes me home to him.

My condolences on your loss.  Lean on God and let Him carry you.  He can and will get you through this.  I wish I could make it but I can't, but you're still in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Wes was a sweet, kind, and wonderful man.  I always enjoyed dancing with and talking to him.  I know he's up there in heaven dancing now.  God bless you.  His kindhearted soul has touched many...including me.  He will be greatly missed.
