79, of Crawfordsville passed away on September 17, 2020. “Willie” as he was affectionately called was born on July 16, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Wilbert and Frieda Mackey. He previously at Woodmizer, Kresges later known as Kmart and Pamida Distribution Center. Willie was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos and watching football. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Gregory Lee Mackey, grandson Joshua and siblings; Perdita Lutz, Ruth Mackey, Ellen Hughey. Willie is survived by his wife of 61 years Barbara Mackey, daughters; Lisa Walker, Shellie (Chris) Bryan, Kellie Blann, sister Ida Carter, brother Elmer (Elizabeth) Mackey, grandchildren; Corey Kinnett, Kylie Farfield, Brittany Walker, Nick Wethington, Trevor Wethington, Blake Bryan and 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held 2-6 p.m., on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a service on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 1 p.m., with visitation at 11 a.m.
