William P. Abernathy, Jr, 66 went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2013. He attended Arsenal Tech and served in the US Navy. William was a member of Rock of Faith Community Missionary Baptist Church in Summerville, South Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, the Rev. Clayretha "Brown" Abernathy, his mother, Emma Lou Abernathy, sons: William, Keith, Vetro, Alfred, Thomas, Willie, Angelo, daughters: Nicole, Annisa, Angel, two brothers: John Abernathy (Jackie), David Abernathy, three sisters: Debbie, Judy (Fred), Joyce, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
