

William Alfred Bailey Jr. was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 4, 1953 to the late William Alfred Bailey Sr. and Minnie Lee Lewis-Bailey. He departed from this life on May 16, 2023 at the age of 69 yrs. young.
William graduated from Arsenal Technical High school, and had extended studies in construction management at |UPUI. His career began with Detroit Diesel (Allison Transmission), then transitioned to the construction industry, where he started his own construction business called Accel Builders. He also held numerous positions with various construction companies in carpentry, estimating, superintendent, project management and ending his career as a project executive with Davis & Associates.
William was united in marriage to Rhonda Henderson on May 15, 1976, and raised 5 children.
William attended the Lawrence Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He examined the bible and came to know Jehovah was the true God. He chose to dedicate his life to God and was baptized October 1978. He remained faithful to Jehovah through the duration of his life.
William was a family man and was committed to spending time with his loved ones. He was a certified diver and also loved fishing, playing chess and traveling. He especially loved traveling to Sandals Resort with his wife.
William was preceded in death by his parents and brother Steven Bailey. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Bailey, his sons; William Bailey III (Suzanne) & Neal Bailey (Ladonia), and daughters; Tawanna Williams, Nichole Lewton (Chad) & Janiece Riley (Michael); 21 grandchildren & 9 great- grandchildren; his sisters;
Patricia White (Kenneth), Brenda White (Tommy "deceased*), Sheila Bailey, Renee Luster, brother Rickie Bailey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family & close friends
A visitation for William will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
