William was known for his love of gambling, cars, and watching sports. He especially liked watching IU, Butler, and the Indianapolis Colts. Though he didn't watch a lot of basketball, he did like to play it every once in a while. William was an Usher at West Parkview Baptist Church.
Many would describe William as a family man. He took pride in being a great father, grandfather, and husband. He was there for his late wife, Sandra, in her time of need. You could always count on him to be there, especially for his grandbabies.
