
William was born December 21st, 1929 to William King Sr. and Iola Cooley King in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended IPS and Crispus Attucks High School.
William accepted Christ at an early age, and attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
William retired from Link Belt after working over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army, where he received the National Defense Service medal, Korean Service medal and Bronze Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
William's hobbies included a love of fishing and fellowship with family and friends.
William departed this life on Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at the V.A Hospital at the age of 85 years old. William was preceded in death by his father, William King Sr., his mother, Iola Cooley King, Sister, Rosetta Kemp, Brother, Gilbert King, Son, Darvin king and great grandson, Damon king.
William leaves to cherish his memory to his wife of 40 years, Patricia Barbee King. Children, Reginald King Williams, Bonita King Gupton, Brenda king McMitchell (Andrew), Eric King, Denise King, (Jordan), William King IV, Byron King (Theresa), Javice Blair, Tracy king Logwood, Marcus King, Ronnie King, Angelia King Watkins, Kevin King (terry), Rose-Ann Hudgin (Herron), Shelley Hudgin, and Robbie Hudgins.
23 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great, Great Grandchildren, 2 in-laws, Gladys King and Mary Jackson, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
