Bill was devoted to his wife, Margaret, and they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on June 23, 2025. Bill was a teacher for 32 years at various schools with the majority of his teaching career at Eagledale Christian School/Crosspointe Christian Academy. He also attended Crosspointe Baptist Church where he was a faithful member, Sunday school teacher and a former Deacon. Bill served our country in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years from 1956-1970. He enjoyed spending time studying family history and genealogy records. Bill could be found supporting his grandkids at all of their extra-curricular activities.
Bill is survived by his wife; Margaret, daughter; Debbie (Mark) Yeiter, grandchildren; Taylor, Reagan, William, Grace and Caleb Yeiter. He is preceded in death by his daughter; Mary Elizabeth Moore, brother; Robert Moore and a sister; Pamela Taylor.
A visitation for William will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 220 Country Club Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
William will be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W 21st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46234 on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
