William Maxwell Siler

William Maxwell Siler, age 89, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. William was born August 24, 1932 in Farmersburg, Indiana the son of the late Gail and Anna (Justice) Siler. Bill attended school at Gerstmeyer Tech in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was quite an athlete, playing football and baseball. He became self-employed and was a successful Salesman for Rainbow for many years. He loved to sing with his wife Shirley as Pianist for funerals, weddings, rest and retirement homes, churches, sings and senor groups. His father taught him to memorize the Bible. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Gail ; sister, Regina Inman, daughter, Jennifer Sandberg, daughter, Shawn and his previous spouses, Gloria Faris and Joyce Siler.

Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley Siler; sister, Judith Tribby and her husband Michael; children, Jill, Julie and Dartagnan Siler; grandchildren, Amber, Desi, Chance, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Hunter and Sage; sister-in-law, Linda Siler and brother-in-law, Ralph Inman; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Greg, Debbie, Deanne, David, Todd and Mathew; great-grandchildren, Amara and Chase; step-children, Rodney Viar and his wife Shere, Mark Viar and his wife Renee and Rachelle White and her husband Craig; step-grandchildren, Elisha Drake and husband Dean, Alexis White, Josh Viar and wife Kalyn; step-great grandchildren, Angela, Tiffany, Heather, Brooke, Tiffany, Brandi, Kaitlynn, AJ, Kelsey, Chris and Erica.

A Celebration of Bills life will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 8, 2022 at Crossroads Church, 7209 E County Road 100 S., Avon, Indiana 46123.
