Mr. Sanders was a faithful member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
He was an iron cutter with Navistar prior to his retirement in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Willie, Jr., Bobby, Rufus, Benjamin, Paul and Bryan Sanders; daughters, Susie Sanders-Edmonds, Beverly Sanders and Anisha Williams; brothers, Walter, Johnnie, Albert, Willie George, Sammie and Saul Sanders; and sisters, Lottie Tate and Lillian Highbaugh.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, 11 AM at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 N. College Avenue. Friends may call on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6 PM to 9 PM and Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 10 AM until time of service. Entombment: Crown Hill Cemetery.
