Ann L. Ainsworth, 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11:00 to 12:30 PM immediately followed by a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ainsworth was born on August 22, 1933 in Walnut, MS. She worked as the secretary to the Chief of Police for the Jackson Police Department for over 35 years. She loved horses and gardening, but above all she loved her family and the Lord. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Verner and Annie Boyd Luna; and brother, Col. Carter P. Luna.
Mrs. Ainsworth is survived by her children, Daryl Ainsworth (Kristie) and Lisa Eakens (Bo); grandchildren, Rob Ainsworth (fiancé, Kristie Tullos), Angel Eaves (John), Jacob Eakens, Madison Henshaw (Travis), Jessi Eakens; and 11 great grandchildren.
