Billie Rose Grissom Harrison passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Richland, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Richland from 5 pm to 7 pm and Tuesday at Lakewood Funeral Home from 12 pm to 1 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Harrison was born on August 2, 1923 in Soso, MS to the late William M. Grissom and Cordie Belle Rogers. She taught at Richland Elementary School for 23 years.
Mrs. Harrison is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Harrison. She is survived by son, John B. Harrison; daughter, Phyllis H. Peden; grandchildren, Nickie and Michael Laymen, Clay Peden, Tony and Brooke O’Hair, Alex Harrison, Breanna Williams and Adam Harrison; great grandchildren, Layla Layman, Sydney O’Hair, Cooper O’Hair, Emery Hajj, Ella Williams and Hadley Williams.
