Birdie Katherine Irwin

Visitation will be held at Lakewood Memorial in Jackson, MS on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior.

Birdie was born on December 13, 1965 to Bobby Jack Hancock and Mary Lou Dansby. She loved spending time with her family. She was a very loving and caring person, devoted mother and grandmother and would do anything for anyone.

Birdie is survived by her father and stepmother, Bobby and Peggy Hancock; her two daughters, Amanda Irwin and Bliss Irwin; and her five grandchildren, Daylen, Sabrey, Makaila, Haiden, and Devon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Dansby and her sister, Tammy Lynn Caudill.
