Bobbie Faye Norwood, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Lakewood Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Norwood was born on November 28, 1932 in Laurel, MS. She attended Ellisville High School where she was voted "Most Beautiful" and was a cheerleader. She was a devoted member of Raymond Road Baptist Church and loved her Naomi Sunday School Class.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Norwood; parents, Marvin Tucker, Sr. and Faye Taylor Eckhoff; brothers, Marvin Tucker, Jr. and Donald Tucker; and sister, Carlene Hatten.
Mrs. Norwood is survived by her children, Michael Ray Norwood (Sherry) and Kathy Denise Poole (Bill); sister, Jerry Parrish (Larry); grandchildren, Christopher Brett Poole, Kathryn Blair Poole, Corey Michael Norwood, Blake Poole, and Jennifer Kendrick; great grandchildren, Preston Poole and two more on the way.
