Brenda Chappell Wade

Brenda Chappell Wade, age 70, of Raymond, Mississippi passed away on Thursday June 21, 2018. Brenda was born August 3, 1947 in Jackson, Mississippi to Bessie Varner Chappell and Sidney C. Chappell, Sr.

Brenda is survived by; son Walter W. Wade, Jr.; son Michael (Michelle) Wade; and daughter Lynnice Wade Gunter; mother Bessie Varner Chappell; brother Sidney C. Chappell, Jr., sister-in-law Martha Shurfield, brother-in-law Wilmer (Dale) Wade and sister-in-law Diane (Kenneth) Franklin; granddaughter Charlotte (Justin) Sneddon, grandson Eric Gunter (Alexandra Hodge), granddaughter Sidney (Demorae) Floyd, granddaughter Rebecca Wade and grandson Michael Wade.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Walter W. Wade, Sr. and father Sidney C. Chappell, Sr.

Brenda and her husband served as foster parents for many years. Brenda was also an elementary and special education teacher in both the Texas and Jackson, MS Public School Systems.

A visitation for Brenda will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
