Charlotte Melda Gipson

Charlotte M. Gipson, 90, died December 24, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday in the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home High Street Location. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30am till 11:00am prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery at 1:30 pm.

Charlotte Gipson was a native of White Oak, MS and remained there until she and her family moved to Jackson in 1959. She retired from Rockett Inc after many years of loyal service. She was a former member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and most recently a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her extended family. She was preceded in death by a son, Phil Gipson.

Survivors include her sons Jim Gipson and wife Vicki of Sugarland, TX and Anthony Gipson and wife Joyce of Rockwall, TX; daughter-in-law Deborah Gipson of Vicksburg; grandchildren Allison Gipson Morris and husband Tom of Dover, OH, Brant Gipson and wife Suzanne of Columbus, OH, Eden Gipson Stanton and husband Drew of Montgomery, AL, Kirk Gipson and wife Marla of Memphis, TN; and six great grandchildren.
