Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel.
Dot was born August 6, 1935 in Picayune, Mississippi to the late Homer Rester and Nellie Noblin Rester. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert Dale Tennyson, and two children and their spouses Dr. Wendy Tennyson Jennings (John) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and Dr. Robert Dale “Rob” Tennyson Jr. (Jenny) of Vienna, Virginia; grandchildren: Dane Jennings, Hope Jennings, Dr. Lee Jennings (Dr. Skylar Rodgers Jennings), Grace Jennings, Joy Faith Jennings, and Isaac Tennyson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Crossgates United Methodist Church where Mrs. Tennyson and her husband were charter members at 23 Crossgates Drive, Brandon, Mississipi, 39042.
