Eileen Thomas Quarles

Visitation is 4:00-6:30pm Friday, January 11, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services are 10:00am Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Lakewood South Cemetery.

She was born December 11, 1924 in Mitchell County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Leroy Thomas and Cora Rigsby Thomas.

Mrs. Quarles was a charter member of Oak Forest Baptist Church, where she served as the Director of Kindergarten Services for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John D. Quarles, Jr.

Survivors include sons, Ronnie Quarles, Bobby Quarles and wife Judy, and Rick Quarles and wife Barbara; daughter, Beth Dickey and husband Doug; brother, Jimmy Thomas and wife Judy; sister, Nell West and husband Irving; grandchildren, Jeremy Quarles and wife Amanda, Natalie King and husband Andrew, Jacob Quarles and wife Whitney, Trey Rein and wife Sarah, David Quarles and wife Christin and Conner Dickey; and great-grandchildren, Graham and Cooper Quarles, Thomas and Annie Kate King, Chandler Quarles, Vivian Rein and Aiden Quarles.
