Glenn A Sutton

Glenn A. Sutton, 87, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Lakewood Funeral Home with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Sutton was born on January 18, 1930 in Denver, Colorado. He served in the United States Air Forces for 20 years and 5 months before retiring. He was a mechanic before retiring for good to enjoy life, which he did just that.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Erlene Myers Sutton; son, Larry Durell Shaw; great grandchildren, Denise Roberts and Kristopher Ryann Gillis; parents; and 11 siblings

He is survived by his daughter, Sheron A. Payne and her husband, Robin; sons, Douglas S. Sutton and his wife, Lisa, Michael D. Sutton; and daughter-in-law, Shari Ann Shaw. Mr. Sutton is also survived by his longtime companion, “Poochie” Breithaupt and her children, Ray and Donna; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Tea.
