Mrs. Gwendolyn Pennington, 84, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by her husband, L.L. Pennington; parents, Homer and Katie King Thompson; and son, Len L. Pennington.
She is survived by her son, Royce Pennington (Debbie), daughter-in-law, Bobbie Pennington; sister, Margaret Jane Rivers (Buddy); grandchildren, Courtney, Christopher, Brandon, Brooke, Stephanie, Andy, and Billy; and several great grandchildren.
