J. Allen Blackledge, 83, of Clinton, MS passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at his home. Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church Clinton on Wednesday, July 13 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow.
He was born on September 2, 1938 in Laurel, MS and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Laquita Blackledge and his parents, John Allen Blackledge and Dorothy Jane Stone Blackledge.
Survivors include his sons, Jay (Janice) and Jeff (Marilyn) of Clinton; three granddaughters, Jessica Blackledge of Clinton, Jayna (Dalton) Green of Clinton and Beth (Scott) Denson of Frisco, Texas; great grandchildren, Chase, Maci, Weston and Josie.
