The Celebration of His Life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11 at All Saints Episcopal Church on Daniel Lake Blvd. with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park South.
Mr. Ethridge graduated from Central High School, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Mississippi College. He enjoyed high school athletics, and frequently served as statistician or announcer for games. As a member of the Diamond Club, he assisted with Baseball and Softball All Star Games. He also enjoyed karaoke.
Survivors include his brother, William Jefferson Ethridge; niece, Alyson, and nephew, John Owen III, as well as other relatives and friends.
His parents, John Owen Ethridge and Mary Ella Battle Ethridge, and one brother, John Owen Ethridge, Jr., preceded him in death.
