Jessie Gilbert

Jessie Elizabeth Horne Gilbert of Florence, MS, age 91, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, MS. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard A. Gilbert; her parents, Lavinia K. Horne and W. C. Horne, Sr.; and her brother, Charles H. Horne. She is survived by her only daughter, Katherine G. (George Jr., ) Watson of Florence, MS; her brother, William C. Horne, Jr. of Pensacola, FL.; her beloved grandsons, Gregory K. Watson of Florence, MS; and Jeramy A. (Dancy) Watson of Clarkdale, MS; great grandsons, Jackson Daniel Watson and Jasper Alan Watson. She leaves behind many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews, as well and many very special friends. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ellington, Mitch Watson, Marc Watson, Mike Watson, Colby Watson, and Steve Price.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Wright and Ferguson in Jackson, MS, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM with services commencing at 11:00 AM. Graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
