Mr. Gardner was born on November 24, 1938 in West Memphis, AR to the late Harry K. and Margaret Hinton Gardner. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a salesman with Davis Meter and Supply.
Mr. Gardner is survived by his son, Matt Gardner and wife Jennifer; his daughter, Janie Gardner; brother, Jack Gardner; sisters, Lynn Dixon and husband Ray and Harriett Gold and husband Ritchie; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Gardner and sister, Dorothy Easley.
