

John Christopher Huddleston, 58, of Raymond passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 in Jackson, Mississippi. Chris was born on October 20, 1967, in Jackson, Mississippi to Susan Kay Forshag and the late William Brunner Huddleston. Chris joined the Army National Guard in 1989 and served in the Gulf War (1990 – 1991) earning numerous honors and medals. After returning home from the Gulf War, Chris completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Mississippi State University in 1993. Chris had an entrepreneurial spirit and was always looking for the next successful venture. Chris worked several years with his brother Glenn and their dad in residential home building and remodeling. He also worked with his brother Jonathan installing home and commercial entertainment and security systems. At the time of his death, Chris was employed by the United State Post Service. Chris loved working with computers, gardening and especially loved tinkering with and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Chris is survived by his mother, Susan Kay Forshag, Stepdad John Pennington, brothers Glenn Huddleston (Missy) and Jonathan Huddleston (Lacey), sister Erin Halverson, stepsisters Paige Pennington and Amanda Canto.
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, Mississippi. Following burial, a time of visitation, fellowship and remembrance will be held at Glenn and Missy’s home from 4:00 – 6:00. All friends and family are invited to come by and share their memories.
