After retirement, he and his beloved wife settled on their land in Mississippi, where he was finally able to fully embrace his lifelong love of fishing.
Joseph lived a life firmly rooted in faith, devotion, and steadfast love. A committed follower of Christ, he faithfully served as a Deacon at his church until he was physically unable to continue. He embraced his calling with humility and dedication. In later years, he tenderly served as a caregiver to his wife, demonstrating Christ-like compassion, patience, and selfless devotion. Their marriage reflected a love grounded in faith and sustained by grace.
