Bro. Lee was loved and respected by all of his church family.  It has been our privilege to learn from this "Southern Gentleman." Bro. Lee was always positive, always smiling and always looking forward never backward.  Our hearts are heavy but also filled with joy to know he is with the Lord.  What a glorious day when he was able to reunite will all his dear Sunday School members!  I am sure he and Elbert Hutto are busy getting everything organized and prepared for us in heaven!  Praise the Lord for allowing us to know and come to love Lee Coward.

Thanks to those who have written here about my grandfather. He was a an awesome example of how to grow old with grace, humor, faith, and a positive outlook every day. He was 97, living alone, and driving until he went into the hospital. he knew how to live well, and what was important. He fiercly loved God,his family,and church, and meeting new people. We love him, and will miss him... but he needed to trade in the 97 year old suit for a shiny (less wrinkly) new one!

I WORKED WITH MR.COWARD  AT HARDINS BAKERY AND HAVE  HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING HIM  AND HIS FAMILY. I SURE HE WILL BE GREATLEY MISSED.

Mr. Coward was a fine Christian man.  May you be comforted by knowing he is with the Lord.

I have fond memories of visiting with Mr. Coward in the clinic. He was a pleasure to be around,always smiling and laughing. He will be greatly missed.

Lee and family:  We were sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Lee which we did not find out about until Saturday afternoon.  We have very fond memories of him and he will be missed. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

The angels in heaven are rejoicing the homecoming of our dear, sweet Mr. Coward.
