Martha Smith Westling

Ms. Martha Smith Westling, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her home in Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Ms. Westling was born January 30, 1947 in Jackson, MS, to Andrew M. and Hilda Williamson Smith. She was a graduate of Provine High School and Jackson Academy of Cosmetology and worked at Gayfer’s and Dillard’s as a consultant in fragrance sales until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Pinelake Church and dedicated her life to walking daily with Jesus and sharing Christ with everyone whom she came in contact with.

Ms. Westling was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Fisher Westling, Sr., and by an infant brother. She is survived by her son, Frank Fisher Westling, Jr. (Tracy) of Madison; daughter, Lori Westling Griner (Wayne) of Brandon; her grandchildren, Hunter Westling, Peyton Westling, and Katelyn Griner; and by her aunt, Tiny Cole of Clinton.
