Mary Anne graduated from Mississippi College and devoted many years to her work as an elementary school teacher. She loved singing and playing the guitar and found great joy in sharing music with those she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Henry; her daughter, Marley Jones (Chris); her beloved three granddaughters; and her brothers, Bill Thompson (Vickie) and Lelon Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. William Bert and Mary Etta Thompson; and her son, Matthew Rankin.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We look forward to seeing her again fully healed in Heaven
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, on March 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
