Mary Weems

Mary Elizabeth Parker Weems passed away at Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, OK on August 25, 2012. Services will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson, MS on August 31, 2012 at 11am with burial following at Lakewood South Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Royce Edward Weems. There will be visitation from 4-7pm on August 30, 2012 at the funeral home.

She was born on July 18, 1929 in Jackson, MS where she lived most of her life She was a member of Leavell Woods United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the UMW Circle until her move in 2005 to Woodward, OK. There she attended Faith United Methodist Church. She was an Auxiliary Volunteer at the Woodward Regional Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who was loved by many.

She is survived by her children: Michael Edward Weems of Austin, TX, Sally Ann Smith (husband Barry) of Woodward, OK and Susan Elizabeth Jordan (husband Mike) of Jackson, MS. Grandchildren: Phillip Jordan (wife Sara), Megan Weems, Jarrod Jordan, Michael Weems, Savannah Shirley (husband Matt) and Eric Smith. Great-grandchildren: Jacob Jordan, Chance Jordan, Harlynn Shirley & Lily Jordan; sisters Norma DeWitt and Emma Dunagin.
