Paul A Farmer, 66, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his home. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Monday, April 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
Paul was born in Jackson, MS on August 26, 1955. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Solon and Mary Womack Farmer; father-in-law, Lester Saranthus; and sister-in-law, Debra Saranthus Rushing.
Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeannie S. Farmer; mother-in-law, Betty Saranthus; niece, Amber Pepper (Andy) and their children, Ashlynn, Adelynn and Brantley; nephew, Michael Rushing (Christina) and their children, Austin Clark, Braden Clark, Miley Clark and Megan Rushing. He is also survived by his canine companion, Sadie and special family friend, Lynn Jones.
Paul’s family would like to thank Dr. Qu and his staff at Jackson Oncology Associates for the care and compassion they have received.
