Pauline was born in Holmes County, MS to the late Walter and Nancy Jane Edwards Wigley in 1921. She retired as Senior Accountant from Lamar Life Insurance Company. Pauline enjoyed sewing. She was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church and currently a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Carney and her siblings. She is survived by her son, Rod Carney (Helen); grandson, Chris (Susan) Carney; granddaughter, Nan Carney Lyles (Brett); great grandsons, Jonathan (Bailey) Lyles, Nicholas (Katie) Lyles, Christopher Lyles, Wilson Carney and Elliott Lyles; great-great granddaughter, Charlie Reed Lyles.
