Barbara Jean Eubanks Diggs

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Diggs, 74, will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3pm at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with Edgar Thompson and Demetrius Ceaser officiating. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery.Barbara passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at her home in Cumberland Furnace, TN.Barbara was born on December 3, 1941 in Madison County, TN to Jack Eubanks and Hildred McCoy Eubanks. She was a retired school bus driver who served the Jackson Madison School System for 28 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Diggs, and her son, Terry Pickler.She is survived by her four children, Andy Pickler, Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Rick Diggs, Melisa Whitaker, and Kimberly Reece; nine grandchildren, Hunter Pickler, Daniel Gerken, Sierra Butler, Ross Diggs, Janlyn Diggs, Kendyl Whitaker, Alexis Whitaker, Joseph Reece, and Julia Reece; and four great grand-children, McKinley Pickler, Taytum Pickler, Logan Gerken, and Kaidyn Farris.Pallbearer to serve are Ross Diggs, Larry Joe Cain, Chris Eubanks, Hunter Pickler, Joe Reece, Joseph Reece and Honorary Pallbearer, Daniel Gerkin.A visitation with the family will be held at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons from 1 pm until the service time of 3 pm.
