Bobby Harold Scott

Funeral Services for Bobby Harold Scott, age 77, will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Rev. Bobby Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.

He died September 18, 2011.

Mr. Scott was the son of the late Mr. J.D. Scott and is survived by his mother Brooksie Scott Bessent. He was born in West Port, TN and grew up in Bemis, TN.

After a long tenure, he retired from Consolidated Aluminum, Inc. He also served as a Madison County Constable for 12 years. Mr. Scott was a veteran, having served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1957.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting for many years and watching the humming birds. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 57 ½ years Sue Scott, son Johnny Harold Scott (Donna) of Jackson, TN, Mother Brooksie Bessent of Sharon, TN, three sisters June Stallcup (Robert) of Stanton, TN, Gloria Hornsby of McKenzie, TN, Joan Adams of Humboldt, TN, two brothers Dan Scott (Heidie) of Kittredge, CO, Ronny Scott (Sandra) of Alabama, several nieces and nephews and special friends Jack and Leahrae Taylor and Bobby Taylor.

Friends may visit with the family from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday September 21, 2011 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
