Bunny Noel Pearson

Funeral services for Bunny Noel Pearson, age 80 of Jackson, TN, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with Bro. John Long and Bro. Adam Steel officiating. Burial will follow in Brown’s Church Cemetery.

He passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 in Jackson, TN

Mr. Pearson was born on June 27, 1931 in Jackson to the late Dr. Welton Dennis and Margaret Hopper Pearson. He was a Baptized Christian all his life and was a member of First Christian Church. He served in various positions within the church, such as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Pearson loved the outdoors, photography, woodworking, but his greatest love was his family. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ima Jo Patterson Pearson; two sons, Randy Pearson and wife Donna of Jackson and Rusty Pearson and wife Brenda of Collierville, TN; his grandchildren, Scott Pearson of Knoxville, Dr. Brian Pearson and wife Brooke of Jackson and Brooke Pearson Perkins and husband Jordan of Jackson; and a great granchild, Meritt Pearson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ronnie Neal Pearson.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the North Chapel.
