Dorothy was born on November 18, 1949 in Haywood County, the daughter of the late John and Pauline Eaves Riddell. She was active in the VFW Post 6496 Ladies Auxiliary as well as the American Legion Post 12. She was also a member of Madison Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Heidelberg; son, Roger Heidelberg; two grandsons, Christopher Heidelberg and Robert Heidelberg II; great grandson, Aiden Campos; daughter in law, Eva Heidelberg; brother, Larry Riddell; and sister, Baby Girl Riddell.
She is survived by her children, John Heidelberg, Christy O'Guin, and Pamela Heidelberg; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Bruce Riddell; and sister, Glenda Faye Riddell Cable (Daryl).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
