Mrs. Evelyn Allen Ragan, age 89 of Medon, passed away at home on Monday evening, November 2, 2015.Mrs. Ragan was born on April 26, 1926 in Blytheville, AR the daughter of the late Charles Swain and Jessie Neill. She was a homemaker, billing clerk, and a loving caregiver. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Ragan; a son, Teddy Ragan; two sisters, Helen Carvel and Leora Quinn; and two brothers, John Overton and Jimmie Overton.She is survived by her son, Larry Ragan; a brother, Harold Overton (Connie) of Escondido, CA; sister-in-law, Linda Ragan; two grandchildren, Susan & Mark Ragan; a great grandson, Mark Ragan, Jr.; and sister, Diane Wooley (Fred).The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, November 4, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning, November 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Bro. Mark Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in Parkburg Cemetery in Pinson.
