Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Bro. Jim Kelly will officiate the service.
Mr. Cannon was born on January 26, 1919 in Jackson, TN. He proudly served in the Army during WWII and later in life, retired from Whalley Construction Company after 44 years.
He is survived by his son, Mike Cannon (Debbie) of Lavinia; 2 grandchildren, Richie and Heather Cannon of McLemoresville, Chris and Christina Cannon of Atwood, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Cannon and his son, Richard Cannon
Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
