Journey is survived by her parents Miranda Bajpai and Preston Gibbons, she is dearly missed by her brother Lynden David and sister Arabella Christine. Journey is cherished by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins throughout West Tennessee and the State of Maine.
Journey graced our families for a glorious 16 weeks while battling DiGeorge Syndrome. Through it all she was a fighter. Her fierce determination was evidenced during every temperature reading and diaper change. She wouldn't give an inch, she fought with everything she had.
Alas her calling on earth changed. Hers became a mission of unifying and forgiving. She brought families from afar together. She taught all about courage. She opened closed hearts to acceptance and compassion. She exhibited for all to see the true meaning of love. Her calling on this earth complete, she gave herself to our Lord. We revel in Journeys glory in Heaven.
There will be a service at George A. Smith & Sons south chapel at 1544 S Highland Ave, Jackson, TN Saturday June 24 at 3:00 pm. The families encourage all to attend, and to mention Journey in their Sunday worships. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lebonheur or St. Judes Childrens Hospital, or the childrens hospital of your choice, are greatly appreciated. The families also encourage all to read about the utterly random disease DiGeorge Syndrome.
