Joyce was born on July 9th, 1942, in Ripley TN to the late Earl Green, Sr. and Thelma Jenkins Green. Joyce was an avid golfer and loved to spend her time outdoors in her garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Green.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, The Honorable Franklin Murchison; her stepchildren, Laura Murchison Starnes (Michael) of Indian Wells California, John Franklin Murchison, Jr. (Kelly) of Knoxville T, Leslie Murchison Cap (Allen) of Tulsa OK, and Amy Murchison Mckinnis of Edmond, OK; sisters, Linda Duvall (Franklin) of Ripley, TN and Betty McNeal of Virginia Beach VA; Brother, Earl Green, Jr. (Aimee) of Ripley, TN; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 27, 2022, from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the North Chapel of George A Smith and Sons with a memorial service following at 10:00 a.m.
