Funeral services for Julian Thomas Kirk age 83 of Jackson, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with Bro. Thomas Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kirk was a kind sweet hearted man that had a good since of humor, a retired truck driver for the Madison County Health Department and a member of First Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Kirk; a daughter, Debra Poppelaars (Franciscus) of Nashville, TN; a son, Ricky Kirk (Rita) of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Orene Coleman of Milan, TN; a brother, Bobby Kirk of Cedar Grove; three grandsons, Donavan Beach of San Antonio, TX, Aaron Kirk of Jackson, TN and Matthew Kirk of phoenix, AZ and four great grandchildren Ryan, Kaela, Sara, and Mia
Mr. Kirk was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Vera Barr Kirk; two sisters and four brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, November 5, 2010 at the North Chapel.
