Kenneth Louis Mote

Funeral services for Kenneth L. Mote, age 52, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with Bro. Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Parkburg Cemetery.

Mr. Mote passed away November 22, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on September 7, 1958 in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Edward Gerald and Helen Williams Mote.

He was a 20 year retired Fire Fighter for the City of Bartlett, TN and a member of Oakfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy LeAnn Mote; one daughter, Kristy Mote; two sons, Nathan Mote and Jacob Mote; three step-children, Kelsea Carson, Bret Carson and Eddie Carson IV (Josi); a brother, Rick Seeley (Becky) of Grand Prairie, TX; two grandchildren, Alexis Hignight and Grayson Carson; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Jenny Hurt; and his beloved puppies, Nick, Abbye, Archie and Bella. Also, a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve are Chip Webster, Pete Cooper, Danny Baxter, Mark Galamore, Mike Little and Kevin Smith.

The family will receive friends also on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 from 12 Noon until the service time at 2 p.m.
