

The family will receive friends and family Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm -6:00 pm at the Ministry Center of Fellowship Bible Church 141 Pleasant Plains Road, Jackson, TN. A Memorial service will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Ministry Center of Fellowship Bible Church with Reverend Eugene Brandt officiating. A family graveside service will be held prior to the Memorial Service at 9:00 am at Ridgecrest cemetery.
Kimberly graduated from Gateway and earned her EMT certification through Jackson State Community College,
She is survived by her husband Jonathan Newton, 2 sons Parker Dotson and Luca Newton and step children Timothy and Lily Newton; her parents Jackie and Jerry Dotson, aunts Lesa Barton, Nancy (Bill) Flanders, Angie (Mark) Mangrum and uncle Bryan (Jennifer) Barton; father-in-law, Loran Newton; mother-in-law Sarah Newton; sister-in-law Melissa (Brian) Hogeland; niece Adrianna, nephew Kelton along with numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jack and Ann Barton and Albert and Nell Dotson and uncle Barry (Camille) Dotson.
Kimberly loved the outdoors and camping with her family and friends. She often referred to her children as her heart. She enjoyed her time volunteering for the Red Cross.
Kimberly was a registered organ donor and many will benefit from her gift of tissue donation.
The family requests that memorials may be made to the charity of their choice.
