Memorial Services for Kim Coffman Yelverton will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2pm at First Baptist Church of Jackson under the direction of George A. Smith & Sons.
Kim, 53, of Jackson, Tenn. died Friday, July 13 after an extended illness. A graduate of The University of Mississippi, she taught at Pope Elementary and most recently was a guidance counselor at University School of Jackson. Kim was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Johnny and children Caroline, Maggie and Franklin. Kim is also survived by her parents Robin and Tommie Faye Coffman of Germantown, Tenn., her sister Kristi Roberson of Raleigh, NC and her brother Robin Coffman Jr., of Memphis. A visitation with the family will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Jackson at 12 pm until service time.
Memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
