A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 10 a.m., in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
She was born July 28, 1919 in Dyer, TN to the late Wallace Hutchison and Mary Winstead Hutchison. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN. She worked for many years at Nathan's and after retirement, worked part time at Center Ring Clothing. Mrs. Long was married to Loy Long for nearly 68 years.
Mrs. Long leaves behind one daughter, Loyce Ann Frankland (Hays) of Oakfield, TN; two granddaughters, Kristi Diggs (Mark) and Rachel Wallace (Daniel); four great-grandchildren, Chase Diggs, Katie Diggs, Troy Wallace and Lexi Wallace.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her two sisters and two brothers.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff of the Jackson Oaks Assisted living for the care they provided for Mrs. Long.
