Mrs. Margie Nell Lay, 88 of Jackson passed away on July 23,2015. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday July 26, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Anthony Rowland will officiate.
Mrs. Lay was born in Beech Bluff, TN on April 10th 1927 to the late Braxton and Daisy Leigh Russell Lovett.
She is survived by her daughter; Deborah Raper (Michael) of Denmark, 2 Sons; Phillip Lay (Vickie) of Jackson, Gary Lay (Melissa) of Denmark, 1 sister; June Gibson of Olive Branch, MS, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years; Andrew Earl Lay, and 1 brother; B.R. Lovett.
A visitation with the family will be conducted on Saturday July 25, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
