Martha Davis Hubbard

She was born September 2, 1937 in Birmingham, AL to the late Mary Sue and Walter Davis, Sr. Martha worked for Maybelline Schering-Plough before retiring. She had many lifelong friends that she was close to from work, her Scenic Hills Community, her church, retired military and their spouses (TROA), and dear friends from her childhood in Birmingham, AL.

She was the life of the party and always made family and friends feel so at ease and loved. She moved to Jackson, TN shortly after her husband passed away to be closer to family.

Her family would like to thank those who took care of her through Gentiva Hospice, Hospice of West Tennessee, Christian Care Center of Medina and Charter Senior Living of Jackson.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Theodore Newman Hubbard who she was married to for 58 years before his passing. Martha was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Morgan Kelley, and brother Walter Davis, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Jan Kelley (Mike) of Jackson, TN; son Scott Hubbard (Ann Marie) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Shannon Kelley, Cole and Alec Hubbard.

There will be a celebration of her life in the spring at her home church of Scenic Hills United Methodist Church.
