Mary Lou Cain

Mary Lou Cain. age 83. passed away peacefully on June 10, 2016. Funeral Services for Mary Lou Cain will be held on Sunday June 12, 2016 at 2pm at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Bro. Mark Cagle officiating, burial will follow in Brownville, TN at Haywood County Memory Gardens.

A native of Brownsville, Tennessee, she was born on January 4, 1933, to the late William Walter Cox II and Mary Louise Benford Cox.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Gene Everette and her brother William Walter Cox 111. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Gene Michael (Janet), Jenny Lynn Jones (Billy), John (Lucie), and Downing (Teresa): grandchildren, John Everett, Michael (Ashley), James and Ethan (Jillian) Cain, Emily (Andrew) Desbiens and Brittini Thompson and one great granddaughter, Brooke Gentry Cain: a sister, Betty B Richards and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou graduated from Haywood County High School in 1951. She retired from Devilbiss in 1998. She as a member of Malesus Baptist Church.

Visitation with the Cain Family will be on Saturday June 1 1, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers, donations or memorials may be directed to Malesus Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
