Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Randy Carter will officiate.
Mrs. Utz was born on December 8, 1942 in Hampstead, MD, to the late Melvin and Gertrude Hughes Rill. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Nona enjoyed sports, helping people and loved her Church family at Northside Assembly of God.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Utz was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Ian Durham; 3 sisters, Ethel Ray Willet, Flora Jean Hale, Gertrude Loretta Harris; and 4 brothers, Charles, Vernon, Chester, and Earl Rill.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert Utz; daughter, Deborah K Flynn (Johnny) of Winston Salem, NC; son, Dwayne "Nuck" Osborn (Missy) of Gravel Switch, KY; and 9 grandchildren, Patrick Durham, Jessica Saupaugh, Allison Flynn, Jessica and Jennifer Osborn, Jeffrey, Joseph, Justin, and Jacob Duggins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or Northside Assembly of God, Jackson, TN.
