Mr. O.J. Davidson, 83 of Jackson, passed away at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital on April 12, 2011. Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 15, 2011 at 11:30 am in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
O.J. was born on November 10, 1927 in Lafe AR, to the late Vernon, and Lorine Mott Davidson. He served his Country in the Navy, and retired from Owens Corning after fifteen years of service. He also was a member of Campbell Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Lucille Mott Davidson, 3 daughters, Alice Sawyer (John), Denise McNabb (Dennis), and Renee Crowder (Greg) all of Jackson; 2 sisters, Brenda Dorris, and Louise Waldron; 1 brother Jerry Davidson; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
A Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday April 14, 2011 at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm.
