Patty Ann Booker

Mrs. Patty Ann Gross Booker, age 67 of Jackson, TN, passed away on November 16, 2014 surrounded by her family in Jackson. She was a beloved wife, Momma and "Grammy". The joy in her life was spending time with her family, enduring the loving antics of her husband and living a life of servitude and positivity, inspiring everyone she came in contact with.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11 a.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with Interment to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Her Minister Ray Pack of South Jackson Church of Christ will officiate the services.

Casketbearers will be Darren Booker, Brennan Booker, Matt Booker, Michael Schiedegger, Tyler Schiedegger and Matthew Shearon.

Mrs. Patty was born on October 6, 1947 in McClain, Mississippi to the late Thomas James "TJ" and Irene Coon Gross.

Mrs. Booker is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Steve F. Booker of Jackson, TN; two sons, Darren Booker (Laura), son, Matt and daughter, Macy of Denmark, TN; Brennan Booker (Leslie) and daughter, Audrey of Milan, TN; and two daughters, Alana Woomer (Glenn) of Winchester, TN, sons Michael (Carrie) of Jackson, TN and Tyler of Winchester, TN; and Shanna Shearon (Matthew), daughter, Addison and son, Raine of Brownsville, TN; one brother, Jimmy W. Gross (Jennie) of Corinth, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. and from 10-11 a.m., preceding the services Wednesday in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
